SEARCH FOR SURVIVING COMPANIONS IN SUPERNOVA REMNANTS

Ia 型的超新星(Type Ia supernovae)因為其極高的亮度在宇宙學中常常被拿來當作標準燭光來測量距離。但是Ia 型超新型的爆炸起源系統仍未有充分地理解。研究其爆炸前的系統將有助於提升測量星系距離的精確度與系統誤差。我們目前專注於研究單簡併星的起源系統(爆炸來自於一顆簡併白矮星與另一顆非簡併恆星),我們模擬在此系統中非簡併的伴星在超新星爆炸中所受的影響,並預測在爆炸後多年的演化。我們的預測將可以協助觀測學家尋找在銀河系附近的Ia型超新星殘骸中是否可以發現這遺留下來的前伴星。
